Trust William was born out of the recognition that many of us are looking for “natural health alternatives” and also the need for greater understanding about what these type of products can do and which ones work.
At Trust William we aim to demystify nature and provide you with a range of natural products based on expert knowledge and years of experience in plants supplying everything they need for your natural medicine cabinet. Our range has been designed so that your whole family can enjoy the benefits of natural good health, from allergy sensitive baby products to supplements to keep ageing joints moving.
Trust William can do this as it traces its roots back to one of the UK’s first natural healthcare companies, which was founded in 1846 by William Ransom, a committed philanthropist and renowned botanist. We have taken William’s original values and used them to create an online shop with a core range of natural health and beauty products based on six key well-established natural ingredients: Aloe Vera, Echinacea, Glucosamine, Manuka Honey, Omega 3 and Tea Tree Oil.
Each of these ‘Big Six’ natural ingredients have been used for hundreds (sometimes thousands) of years by ancient societies that have long recognised their health-giving benefits. They form the basis for a range of products that may help people to support good health and fitness as naturally as possible.
The wide application of these ‘Big Six’ ingredients means that our product range covers everything from hair and skin care to maintaining a healthy heart, circulation, digestion and immune system. Aloe Vera: is a natural soothing emollient that is used internally and externally. It has been referred to for centuries as the ‘First Aid’ plant and Cleopatra is reputed to have used it as part of her beauty routine. The range includes digestive aids, shampoo and conditioner, children’s and adults’ toothpaste, mouthwash, lip balm and after sun.
Echinacea: is a long established herbal remedy traditionally used to support a healthy immune system and is easy to take in whichever form most suits the customers lifestyle. The range includes throat spray, high potency tablets, syrup, liquid extract, effervescent tablets and a hot drink.
Manuka Honey: is a natural antibacterial and has been used for centuries for its sweetening and nutritional properties. The range includes honey and honeycomb, capsules, syrup, liquid drops and throat lozenges. The honey Research Laboratory at Waikato University in New Zealand has undertaken extensive research into Manuka Honey. Laboratory tests have shown that UMF Manuka Honey is effective against a wide range of bacteria which includes the strains present in wounds and in the stomach (helicobacter pylori)
Tea Tree Oil: is a natural antiseptic. The range includes the straight oil as well as spray, antiseptic cream, blemish stick, cleansing soap, hand and body lotion, body wash, shampoo & conditioner and toothpaste.
Glucosamine: plays an important role in the production of cartilage and is known as the ‘cement of the connective tissues’ so can contribute to joint health as a food supplement. The supplement can be taken in different forms as Trust William’s Health Perception (soon to become Ransom Jointflex) range includes tablets and liquid as well as gel and patches.
Omega 3: is recommended as a food supplement for joint, heart and brain health in young and old. Trust William has different formulations available so you can choose the right Omega 3 to suit your lifestyle.
